Hikvision 2 Wire IP on SSS Siedle wires

Upgrade of SSS Siedle In-Home Bus intercom using Hikvision 2 Wire IP System in bungalow with six units.

Hikvision door station is used as a main video door station on top of SSS Siedle door station. SSS Siedle buttons are connected to Hikvision camera module and are used as the call buttons.

SSS Siedle in-door stations are still connected to the same wiring system and functional with house-to-house calls. Both systems are co-existing on the same wiring network without serious invasive modifications to the wiring.

Aiphone LEF-3 with IF-DA

IF-DA are not compatible with LEF-3. In theory.

In practice – it is possible to connect 1 (only) IF-DA and 1 LEF-3 (or LEF-5). 1 IF-DA with 1 LEF-3 was working just nice.
We have tested together 2 IF-DA with 1 LEF-3 and the system was not working. One of the IF-DA in such arrangement was contantly calling LEF-3. Below is the wiring diagram for 1 IF-DA and 1 LEF-3.

Fake Fermax Citymax

There are a number of fake Fermax Citymax phones sold on market places in Singapore for cheaper price. Which in many cases will not work with your existing system. We can have a look at one of them:

Fake Fermax. Can be differentioate by Hycomm label on it.

There reason why fake Fermax fails to work on certain Fermax installation is mostly because of volume control. Even 4+n system is mostly original it still has some service signals between the equipment which is not heard during normal operation. When impedance of the set is higher compare to the original set you may not be able to receive the call from the door station. Tested before.

I also have fake intercom which looks like normal Fermax Citymax however it is completely different inside. It also cannot work at all.
